Summary

The main responsibility of Customer Care Support is to assist in coordinating all activities for the production of customer orders for Mack Hils Metal Fabrication. The following duties are an integral part of the Customer Care Support job duties but are not necessarily an all-inclusive list.  Management reserves the right to alter the Customer Care Support job duties and functions from time-to-time.

 

Essential Functions

  • Scheduling LTL freight logistics & verifying incoming/outgoing freight
  • Processing freight claims
  • Inventory management of customer parts
  • Assist customers and dealers in placing orders
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining customer relations
  • Order entry
  • Generating job packets
  • Create packing slips
  • Invoicing
  • Resolve discrepancies in Customer Invoices
  • Assist with overseeing of shipping personnel
  • Phone Receptionist
  • Greeting visitors and all incoming persons into the facility

 

Required Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:

  • Ability to operate computer, phones, copier/scanner
  • Knowledge and training in operating system
  • Knowledge and training in various computer programs to include, but not limited to Excel, Microsoft Word, and websites for trucking and shipping companies
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as orders, shipping documents, web orders, etc.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Plan sequence of operations and actions
  • Ability to handle stress and fatigue related to tight deadlines
