Dies allow you to produce a part with more speed and less cost per part for large volume parts. Every die is built specifically for a particular part and can be expensive at times, so they are typically more useful in high volume production situations.
There are two types of die that we produce, blanking and forming dies. Blanking consists of cutting a flat pattern part with one stroke of the press brake, forming is used to consistently bend a part with one stroke of the press brake.
