Summary 

Mack Hils, Inc. Assembler is responsible for the daily duties in the production, assembly of parts produced by Mack Hils, Inc.

Essential Functions

  • Build and/or assemble parts per work order and drawings.
  • Perform repair work.
  • Perform operations using the following equipment: Table Saw, Hand Tools, Drill Press, Air Riveter and Handheld Grinder.
  • Ensures shop cleanliness in work area.

  • Knowledge and use of protective equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints and job packets.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, MSDS Sheets, and work instructions.
  • Ability to safely operate all equipment used in the department.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to safely operate Forklift.
  • Ability to operate computer.

  • While performing duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and hazardous chemicals.
  • Regularly works near moving mechanical equipment.
  • Employee often works in confined spaces.

  • While performing the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and arms to operate equipment; push, pull and lift objects.

  • Ability to stand for an extended period of time without a significant rest period.
