Laser cutting is a technological process where a high-powered laser cuts materials, such as metals and plastics, to a specific measurement and design, leaving the edges flat and the design accurate.
We have two lasers on site:
- Amada LC 2415, 2500 watt, 4’ x 8’ cutting capacity with no reposition. Reposition allows us to cut longer lengths when needed.
- Amada LC 1212, 2000 watt, 4’ x 4’ cutting capacity with no reposition.

- Carbon Steel
- Stainless Steel
Thicknesses for each Material:
- Carbon Steel: Up to 1/2”
- Stainless Steel, Titanium & Aluminum: Up to 1/4”
- Plastics: Up to 1/8”
EDM, Electrical Discharge Machining, is a manufacturing process where electrical discharges are rapidly applied in bursts to a particular material type to form a preferred shape.
Cutting is achieved with an electrical current that travels along a small diameter brass wire, which travels through the block of steel.
